A Pain in the Neck

Just when I thought aging wasn't too big of an issue I get introduced to this on a personal level - Cervical Radiculopathy . This condition can also cause pain induced high blood pressure, limb weakness, elevated blood cortisol levels from nerve irritation (causing fluid retention weight gain) and a general pain in the neck.
